Short answers about how TopCrown works. The full details are in the Rules and the Terms.
What is TopCrown?
TopCrown is a public leaderboard of websites, apps and profiles where the order is decided by one thing only: how much has been paid for each listing. There are no votes, reviews or algorithms, so the listing with the most money behind it sits at #1.
How does TopCrown work?
Paste a link to a website, app, GitHub repository or X or Instagram profile, choose an amount and pay. As soon as the payment is confirmed, the amount is added to that listing's total and it takes the rank that total reaches. Anyone can pay for any listing at any time, so ranks keep moving.
How much does a spot cost?
Prices are in Indian rupees, in whole rupees. A new listing starts at ₹10 and a single payment can be up to ₹9,99,999. What a particular rank costs depends on what the listings around it have paid; the claim box on the home page shows the price for each rank as you move up or down with − and +.
How do I take #1?
Pay enough for your total to beat the current #1 by at least ₹10. The home page's "Claim #1 for" shows the exact amount. Today's #1 works the same way, measured against the most anyone has paid since 00:00 UTC (5:30 AM IST).
What's the difference between the All-Time, Today and Daily boards?
All-Time ranks listings by everything ever paid for them. Today only counts payments confirmed since 00:00 UTC and starts empty each day. Daily keeps a frozen copy of every finished day's board, so you can look back at who led on any date. One payment counts on every board it falls into.
Can I add more to a listing I already paid for?
Yes. Enter the same link or handle again and add at least ₹10. You only pay the amount you add, and it goes onto the listing's existing total. Listings have no owners, so anyone else can add to yours too.
Can I get a refund?
Payments buy ranking position and are final, so being outranked is not a reason for a refund. If a payment can't be applied, for example because the listing was removed while you were paying, it is reviewed and either applied or refunded to your original payment method.
What can I list?
Public websites, X profiles, Instagram profiles, GitHub repositories and App Store or Google Play apps. Chat and group invite links, payment links, adult content and anything illegal, malicious or hateful are not allowed and are removed without a refund.
How are categories chosen?
When you paste a link, TopCrown suggests a category from the page's title and description, and you can change it before paying. A listing keeps its category after that. If yours ended up in the wrong one, email contact@topcrown.in and we'll move it.
How do I pay?
Payments go through our payment provider's secure checkout, where you can pay by UPI, card or the other methods it offers. Your card, UPI or bank details go to the provider, never to us. The claim form asks for a mobile number and email so the provider can send your receipt.
Do I need an account?
No. There are no accounts or sign-ups on TopCrown. You paste a link, pay, and the listing is updated.
Do ranks expire?
Money on the All-Time board never expires: a listing keeps its total for good, though others can pass it. Today's board resets at 00:00 UTC, and each finished day is kept unchanged in the Daily archive.
What if someone else pays while I'm checking out?
Ranks are never reserved. If someone pays first, your payment still counts in full and your listing takes whatever rank its new total reaches. A checkout that isn't completed within 15 minutes expires and nothing is charged.
What does the click count on a listing mean?
It is the number of unique visits sent to the listed site from TopCrown. Each visitor counts at most once per listing per UTC day, and known bots are left out.
How is TopCrown different from launch directories?
Launch directories rank by votes, reviews or editors' picks, and a launch fades after a day. On TopCrown nothing is curated: position is set only by money paid, and an All-Time total stays on the board for good.
