Rules

TopCrown is a public leaderboard ordered by one thing: how much has been paid for each listing. There are no votes, no algorithm and no ads. Pay more, rank higher.

The boards

Every payment counts on each board it falls into. The boards differ only in the stretch of time they look at.

  • All-Time is the main board. A listing's rank is the total ever paid for it, and that total never expires.
  • Today counts payments confirmed since 00:00 UTC (5:30 AM IST). It starts empty again when the next UTC day begins.
  • Daily keeps one board per UTC day, from TopCrown's first payment onward. The current day stays live until midnight UTC, then it is frozen and kept in the archive.
  • Every category has its own All-Time and Today board, ranked the same way.

How ranking works

  • Amounts are in Indian rupees, whole rupees only. A new listing starts at ₹10, and a single payment can be up to ₹9,99,999.
  • Taking #1 on the All-Time board means beating the current #1 total by at least ₹10. Paying less still puts you on the board at whatever rank your total reaches.
  • Today's #1 works the same way: at least ₹10 more than the most anyone else has paid since 00:00 UTC. Category boards have no such margin.
  • On equal totals, the listing that reached that total first stays above.
  • Already listed? Enter the same link or handle again to raise it by at least ₹10. You only pay what you add, and it goes onto the listing's existing total. Listings have no owners: anyone can raise any listing.
  • Prices shown before checkout are a quote, not a reservation. If someone else pays first, the price of that rank changes.

What can be listed

  • Public websites, X profiles, Instagram profiles, GitHub repositories, and App Store or Google Play apps.
  • A website is listed by its domain, so all of its pages share one listing. Query strings and #fragments are removed, so affiliate, referral and tracking links don't carry over. Apps and repositories are listed by their own ID or path, so two apps on the same store never share a listing.
  • Profiles only: single X posts and Instagram posts or reels can't be listed.
  • Pages on platforms where many people publish under one domain (LinkedIn, YouTube, TikTok, Facebook, Medium, Notion, Reddit, Substack and similar) can't be listed, because they would all share one listing.
  • Short links and redirects are followed to the final address (up to three hops), and that address is what gets listed.
  • Not allowed: chat and group invite links (Telegram, WhatsApp, Discord, Messenger, Signal), payment links, adult or sexual content, and anything illegal, malicious, fraudulent or hateful. Such listings are removed without a refund.

Categories

  • When you paste a link, TopCrown suggests a category from the page's title and description. Profiles go to People & Profiles and GitHub repositories to Developer Tools. You can change it before you pay.
  • A listing keeps its category: raising it later doesn't move it.
  • Listed in the wrong category? Email contact@topcrown.in with the listing's link and we'll move it.

After you pay

  • Your listing is public. Clicking it opens the link you submitted, cleaned as described above, with ?utm_source=topcrown added so the site can see the visit came from TopCrown.
  • The rank is yours once the payment provider confirms the payment, usually within seconds. An unfinished checkout claims nothing.
  • Payments buy ranking position and are non-refundable. If a payment can't be applied (for example, the listing was removed in the meantime), it is reviewed and refunded.
  • Paying means you agree to the Terms of Service, these Rules and the Privacy Policy.
